Each guest takes a quick selfie. We extract a numerical face signature (not the photo itself), match it against signatures we computed for your gallery, and surface the photos that match. Selfies and signatures are deleted after 30 days, or when the event closes — whichever is sooner.
No. Selfies are processed once for matching and immediately deleted. Your event photos stay where you uploaded them — Drive, Pixieset, our storage, wherever — and we only hold a face-signature index, never the imagery.
Yes. zevu is built for any event with a crowd: marathons, conferences, school graduations, festivals, corporate offsites, sports clubs. The face-recognition engine doesn't care about the occasion — only that there are people in the photos.
We'll suggest the nearest matches and let them browse the full gallery. They can also re-upload a different selfie.

Yes. Face recognition is opt-in for guests, biometric data is processed under explicit consent, all data is deletable on request, and we never sell or share guest information. Full DPA available for studios on the Studio plan and above.
